holy...

WOW! I never thought I'd see the day, because I never thought about it, but a 100" tablet! With a 2,304 x 800 resolution and 50 touch points, it's something you can really boast about! Made for the Space Chase Gallery at the Adventure Science Center. But all I'm wondering is, that if it will windows 7 . Still the apple geek though. No worries.

yay dsi xl

update: Since I have missed 3 posts, I'll post all 3 of them now ! ^_^!

The new dsi has been announced ... the dsl xl! As you can see by the image, this dsi has a stunning crisp display, but still has no gba slot, oh well. This is like the 17 inch mac pro of the future, with 20% more battery per charge this will let you play for days to come! The exact dimensions are 161 x 91.4 x 21.2mm. This great new dsi is coming out in November and coming out at around march in north america. That was fast, but with no gba slot, I'm not really feeling the heat.

USB hell

The worst tech to hit the market - the usb that locks content. I'm not saying that it's not important to learn appropriate things to do on the web, but this is just stupid. It shuts down computer when a time limit ends, it blocks files, and when the usb is taken out it makes the computer virtually important to use. After taken out it's just a hunk of cold metal. Would you like this kind of tech?

Justin

P.s I've been busy, so this is the post for Sunday. Since I posted 4 updates last time that equal a for day break ( for me) so sorry if you've been sad, I tried to upload the vids and the reviews, but it wasn't working. That means no reviews. Sorry, I'll make up for it later

Magic mouse - mac release

This is to commemorate the new magic mouse. To compensate for their loss of the mighty mouse, the have released a new mouse. The magic mouse. This new mouse looks a little more like the old puck shaped mouse ( you'll know if you used the multi coloured imacs) . But this mouse is like the glass trackpad on macbooks, meaning that it can do multi touch gestures. Apple has really taken it to the next step when they introduced the multi touch mouse. Congratulations apple! This ends the apple coverage but I will cover each product in a single blog, one per day instead of all of this, I'll probably just repeat what I'm saying now but oh well. Magic mouse, keep up they tricks, but you'll have competition.

Justin (hip hip hooray)

New macbook

Now this is what I really love! Yes a new macbook, and I'm not talking about the aluminum or the macbook pros but about the polycarbonate plastic. Apple's best selling notebook, now got a very good upgrade with a new processor, a better hard drive ( 160 gb - 250 gb) and a glass trackpad, with one big button. The big button is the icing on the cake because just a couple of days I was wondering and obsessed with the multi touch track pad. But just so I can contain my excitement I will wait and post a post because that is only fair to the other mac products.

Justin (hip hip hooray)

p.s. my power went down right after the closing ( above) and I freaked out and started a new one and that is when I remembered this so Yahoo auto saving! : )

New mac mini

Continuing our review I must talk about the new mac mini. Being the cheapest apple computer, coming directly from the apple store, we don't expect much out of the mac mini, but apple cares not. The new mac mini comes now with double the memory and a much better processor. But I'm not really to excited with this, because It's like a middle end p.c., which is boring ... I mean it's PC!
So like I said before this computer will have a day of it's on in turn of reviews.

Justin (hip hip hooray)

imac - review

An apple dream come trough, looks like the rumors were true, and apple released it's new products and like I promised, REVIEWS! direct from the apple site. The first the new imac. This new release is an imac that has been revamped and now features a killer 27.5 inch screen. Just saturday I was demoing the 24 inch and THAT was huge! I can't wait to dream about getting this! Anyways the new imac has had a revamp on their processors, now the highest end imac (not mac pro) has a quad core processor! Also the highest end has a sleek new ATI radeon graphics card. Their are much more improvements that I will cover over the course of a week or so, but right now the other products get their show in the spotlight!

Blackberry watch - for saturday 17/09

Wow! R.I.M has announced it's latest edition of the crackberry, the crackberry watch! ( if you don't know what crackbery it's another way of saying R.I.M's blackberry). I have always dreamed of a tv wristwatch to glimpse at while in school, but this is just crazy. Sony ecrisson phones have already released this technology, but it's kind of amazing of how technology s advancing. Now it's time to count down the days to the holonet.

microsoft word clip art - FAIL!

Wow! Clipart you ashame me. Yesterday I was using word in class when I had to search up a pic of a mac and a pc. All I found was a pic of a Macintosh Personal Computer 1999 http://www.genoafoursquare.org/2006_UTurn/old_mac512.jpg and nothing when I searched up Microsoft. Well since it was designed by microsoft I understand no Macs but absolutely no pics of Microsoft/windows/pc on 1997 0r 2007. Created and never appreciated by Microsoft...

Windows really is 7 crazy. They are set to give away 777 copies to Zevenhuizen in the Netherlands which mean exactly 7 houses. Woopee! All the people of this town get to have people install windows 7 in their homes! And just because their town has 7 in it. Wow Microsoft! But you know you know you were just as excited when windows vista came out but look how that turned out. Personally windows 7 runs great for me but I am sure with all the people set to buy windows 7 I'm sure that it'll be a flop sooner or later. Just wait and see.

Justin

Well it's possible ....

I am an apple man at heart and this is why I am talking about apple computers ( mac) but I was born and raised with pcs so I shall post windows updates regularly. Anyways ... Rumor has it that a new mac pro is to come out with or a little after the anticipated imac, macbook, mac mini and apple's new mouse ( can't say mighty mouse anymore). Rumor has it that it will have a 12 core (i9) intel chip in it. Also it would be able to support 8 - 16 gb ram (up to 128 gb on ram alone) and a 10 gps etherent connectivity. I say no way for now but it could be true ... I mean it's apple.

New Macs on the Horizon

YAHOO! There are new macs on the way. Even though I don't own one (yet) I am still excited because well.... I am obsessed! They are rumored but very likely to release a new imac, a new macbook, and a mac mini. The imac get released every 7 months and the last release was in march so they should be coming soon. Also the macbook. I'm not talking about the macbook pro, the macbook air or the 13" aluminum macbooks, I'm talking about the white macbooks that have been a favourite among students. Also there is probably going to be a multi touch mouse similar to the track pads on macbooks that allow multi touch gestures. And there could be a mac mini update but it very unlikely. All of this (except the mouse) was displayed in a leaked apple European ad that shows a new Imac, macbook, and mac mini. So get started on your Christmas wish lists ... it's going to be a heck of a good one.

Mighty mouse going bye bye?

I know I din't make a post yesterday so I'm going to blog using a post from yesterday. Woo enjoy the show...

Apple is being sued for copyright infringement. Yes that's right apple is being sued! Apple is being sued for the iconic mighty mouse. A company called Man & Machine inc. is suing apple for using the name mighty mouse after a year after  man an machine started using it. The mighty mouse from man and machine is a super durable mouse that is water proof and rugged, mostly used in hospitals. "What's this ... thank you..." It has just been determined that apple has indeed lost the lawsuit and will be recreating the mouse. Oh so said apple but it's no good you have lost. GOOD BYE MIGHTY MOUSE!

It was the accepted practice in Babylon 4,000 years ago that for a month after the wedding, the bride's father would supply his son-in-law with all the mead he could drink. Mead is a honey beer and because their calendar was lunar based, this period was called the honey month, which we know today as the honeymoon.

Many years ago in England, pub frequenters had a whistle baked into the rim, or handle, of their ceramic cups. When they needed a refill, they

Favourite Comp?

I was just bored so here's a question to all you techies in the club, what kind of Computer do you have. What Is the processor chip? (INTEL or AMD) And If you could get any computer in the world, what would it be? What operating system would you have? And what software would you have installed?

Working With HTML

My favorite computer games
  1. Star Wars The old republic (obviously)
  2. Counter Strike kind of)
  3. Adventure Quest Worlds
  4. Pokemon Platinum ( i know its childish but.... *snort*) - legal ROM
  5. Adventure Quest (battle on)

These games are better than most because to me, they have a certain appeal to them.
I looove star wars because I'm a fan. I like Pokemon because well ... I have known about it for a long time. My favorite games would be games with anime characters, because I love manga, but that's a different story. Anyways I like RPGs so that's why these games have a certain appeal for me. Well that's why I like these games. Malvern Computer Club - Justin Mathew

Anyways this is my first post on blogger so hello blogger community and the Malvern computer club. I would just like to say that I'm very excited to join this club, and that I really want to have fun and learn about computers. I have been looking at computers and macs and I stumbled across hackintoshes. I love the mac OS x 10.5.6 (leopard) but it is very expensive compared to pcs isn't it? Well over the summer I found out that you could put the mac os x operating system, and that we have the technology to boot the original retail cd. Anyways I was talking to Ian and he said that he has an Asus eee pc which is compatible to turn into a hackintosh. I always wanted to do this and this will be great practice for me and for you guys too. This is what I want to do in the computer club. I also want to make my own computer, because you really can't call a computer a computer unless you built it your self. I also want to learn how to enable adsense on a website just for future reference. I would also like to learn how to care for a computer and clean it without damaging anything. And maybe we could make our own little nifty software! This is what I want to do personally at the club
